Hiking Fuel: The Ball of Energy

Energy Balls are a  great way to get a healthy shot of protein, carbohydrate and good fats to sustain you during an active day. I love to take these guys hiking  and they’re easy to prepare if you’re short on time, just blend and make into balls.

When you’re active outdoors, sometimes you need a lightweight snack to curb your hunger and give you energy. These protein power bars are great for that. I like these for the savoury edge that the tahini provides: sometimes energy bars can be too sweet. No bake and easy to make!
