Hi and thanks for visiting The Nutrition Nomad.
I am Jen-Kui Maxwell, an Accredited Practising Dietitian and nutritionist based in Sydney, Australia. My love affair with food, nutrition, travelling and the great outdoors has brought me to create this blog.
Over the years I have worked in and travelled to some amazing (and sometimes remote) places where food choices can be limited. But that has never stopped me from eating nourishing food. My philosophy is that healthy eating shouldn’t be exclusive. Everyone can attain good nutrition regardless of their budget, location, or cooking facilities.
As an avid hiker and camper, I like to prepare delicious and nutritious meals wherever I am- whether it be with a portable fuel stove on a multi-day hike, on the road in a campervan, travelling overseas or just at home in the kitchen.
I also believe in supporting local producers wherever possible and recognise that some of the best produce is closer than you think.
